Day 1
Brief overview, initial sprites and sounds have been added with the overall finish feeling retro and smooth enough to warrant some challenging platforming elements.
End to end functionality completed today; Menu, gameplay, pause and game over screens all in and functional.
UI completely in; health bar, countdown and room details in addition to Menu options.
Toolkit almost completed; Damage script coded and implemented on Toxic tileset, Platform Types added (moving and collapsable) and RoomBounds (with room titles and camera transforms coded in)
There's an initial few rooms of the initial map implemented; the Janitor's closet where the game starts off, leading into the Facility's underbelly.
Tomorrow's objective (on account of a heavy week of development at work tomorrow) will be to add the final few bits of the Toolkit to allow me to progress with the lighter, less brain-dependant chores throughout the rest of the Jam.
